Clinton’s Lead Evaporates, Loses by 2 Points to Trump
Hillary Clinton’s once strong lead over Donald Trump has completely evaporated in a recent Monmouth University poll.
Which presidential candidate would you vote for?
- Donald Trump – 44%
- Hillary Clinton – 42%
Even though Clinton has defeated Bernie Sanders, overcome her email scandal, and emerged as the Democratic presidential candidate going into the upcoming election, she continues to struggle against Trump. Clinton should easily be beating Trump, a candidate with no political experience and enough blunders to sink even the most distinguished and well-liked politician. Despite this, she cannot build a strong lead over Trump and continues to trade minor leads back and forth.
At this point, Trump needs to go on the attack and convince voters that he is a better choice than Clinton. With Sanders backing Clinton, he needs to press disgruntled Sanders supporters to join his cause by reminding them that their candidate sold out to the woman he so bitterly battled against during the primary cycle. Trump’s biggest enemy is himself. He needs to keep his idiotic comments out of the spotlight and he needs to quickly develop his political prowess if he wants to be able to take the career politician Clinton down.
